The grey of the concrete shows me a cold harsh surface as a backdrop to colours, symbols, dream, sound, skill, connection through music.

I appreciate your consistent, generous support of my photography.

These photos are not my best, but they're the first with a new lens that's intimidated me. I've been experimenting with it for a while, and felt these made the cut. Like earlier photos when I started, these too will serve as a reminder of how far I've progressed.

Taking new ground is all about landmarks right :-)

When I visited Australia in 1997 I bought some Aboriginal art, which is still hanging in my study with pride. What makes this such an interesting series of photos Catherine is the little piece of wood nailed to the wall in the portrait.
